Intex Has a Phone with Integrated Truecaller & Truedialer

Intex and Truecaller has signed a deal to integrate Truecaller and Truedialer in its Aqua Young smartphone devices. Intex has set the handset at an amount of Rs  5090 an  is present for buyers in both the online and offline stores.

This is not the first time that Truecaller has partnered with a company to integrate its app as a pre-Truecaller_on_Androidinstalled feature for the phone. Earlier Truecaller has joined with Cyanogen to make the caller ID and blocking service app as its default native dialer app. The set of features was to be rolled out over OTA updates. But simultaneously at that time Cyanogen has announced the user would be able to uninstall the extra integrated app if they were uncomfortable with the app. But however till now Intex has not made any such type of comment regarding Truecaller and Truedialer that weather a facility would be provided to uninstall the app from the device if user feels un-user-friendly or if not he would have to root it.

There are significant privacy issues regarding Tuecaller, because a user who have your number in his contact list will be definitely give away your contact details for anyone to look up from its online directory. Although there is an option in the app setting for the users to unlist you’re their number, but we are unaware about the fact that about how many people are actually aware that their number is already shared on the service and then go about delisting it.

Intel said that this is an interesting initiative with Truecaller and will allow Truecaller to acquire even more user in the nation. A stats from Truecaller says that about 50% of its user data base comes from India, which counts over 100 million users. Truecaller is working and updating it app for Indian users by introducing a feature which translates names in Hindi and is also introducing an Android messaging app which is named as Truemessenger which even claims to have an automatic spam filter.IT seems that Truecaller is working really hard to make its reach wider in India.
